Hotel graveyard shift worker and TikToker @femomvny10 has been racking up views in the millions with his documentation of a night shift at his hotel.

According to IbisWorld, the average business in the hotel and motels industry in the U.S. now employs more workers than it did five years ago. In 2018, data suggested that one in 25 U.S. jobs was supported by the hotel industry.

Thanks to this hotel worker however, that number could be increasing, as TikTok users voice their desire for a graveyard shift.

@femomvny10 has shared various videos on his TikTok account in recent weeks, but one on August 14 introduced over 3.9 million to how his shifts go.

“Another day, another dollar,” he said as he entered the hotel. It didn’t last long however as he soon headed to the Taco Bell drive-thru instead after realizing he was a “little hungry.”

“Then I sat down, ate my food and watched Hardcore Henry,” he said, showing himself chowing down on his meal while watching the TV series on the computer screen, perched perfectly on the hotel’s front desk.

Most surprising for viewers however was his next move, as he dipped in the pool for an hour of swimming, before taking a “much needed” 45-minute nap in a spare hotel room. The nap was followed by a session of playing Call of Duty in a backroom.

To the surprise of many, @femomvny10 appeared to hardly interact with any guests throughout the shift. He did however get to work later on, picking up litter on the lobby floor, taking the trash out and making coffee, before clocking out…making a hard night’s work.

The easygoing shift was far from a one-off it would seem, and four of @femomvny’s videos document his nightly work, full of “quick 45 minute naps” and intense gaming sessions.

“Bro has the best job,” commented one TikTok user.

“Them hotel night audit shifts are dope man,” added another.

Such little work prompted doubt among viewers, who were left stuck on whether or not they should believe it, and whether or not they should hand in their CV to a hotel asap.

@femomvny10 however promised to live-stream from his workplace on Wednesday, in a bid to prove just how relaxed those graveyard shifts are.
