Houston Fumbles Last Second Touchdown Attempt At Goal Line Ucf Hangs On

Trailing 17-12 with 30 seconds left, Houston quarterback Greg Ward scrambled out of the pocket and ran toward the front left corner of the end zone. He could sniff the game-winning touchdown. He was almost there.

Then this happened.

The play resulted in a touchback, which gave UCF the ball and the victory. 

There are few, if any, ways to lose a football game more painful than that.
