“We kicked that a—. That’s what we did. We kicked that a—,” Jaleel White told TMZ after the game.

A TMZ reporter asked White what he thought about John Calipari’s team.

“You know what? Kentucky just looked like a deer in headlights tonight. You know, I think they saw too many celebrities. You know, Shaq was there… I could just tell they weren’t fluid. They were a little starstruck.”

“It was a great game, seriously. A huge day for L.A. basketball.”

UCLA suffered one of the most historically awful first halves at United Center in Chicago in last year’s game, finishing the first 20 minutes facing a 41-7 deficit, so this year’s turnaround was an even bigger deal for most Bruins fans, White included.

Does it make up for last year?

“Oh, of course.”
