How Many Episodes of ‘Love Life’ Season 2 Are There?
Just like Season 1, there are 10 episodes in the new series of Love Life.
Each installment will be between 28 and 37 minutes long.
Across the 10 episodes,Season 2 will trace the ins and out of Marcus Watkins’ romantic relationships as he tries to move on from the collapse of his marriage.
Jackson Harper replaces Anna Kendrick in the lead role after her character Darby’s story arc was wrapped up in the Season 1 finale when she met her soulmate Grant (Kingsley Ben-Adir).
Kendrick will still make occasional appearances in the new episodes, alongside other Season 1 favorites—Zoë Chao as Sara Yang, Darby’s friend and roommate, Peter Vack as Jim, Sara’s boyfriend, Sasha Compére as Mallory, Darby’s friend, and Nick Thune as Magnus, Darby’s ex-husband.
Speaking to Deadline, Jackson Harper teased what fans can expect to see in the new series.
He said: “Marcus is a guy who made a lot of strong decisions early to be where he is in his life at that age. I can’t quite identify with exactly that. There are definitely some decisions I’ve made in my 20s that are a little more permanent, but the nature of some of the decisions he made, the stability that he found early on, is very adult and very committed.
“He’s a person who is still growing and changing and still learning stuff about himself. And it doesn’t stop because you’re thirtysomething, that’s sort of where he is. Where he thinks he’s got it all on lock and everything figured out, but he really, really doesn’t. That’s a recurring theme throughout the season.

When Will Episodes of ‘Love Life’ Season 2 Be Released on HBO Max?
Love Life fans are in for a treat this series. Viewers will not have to wait 10 weeks to get to the finale. Instead, the Season 2 episodes will be released in batches.
The first three episodes are available to stream and download now via HBO Max. The next three will drop on Thursday, November 4.
The final four episodes will be released on Thursday, November 11.
