In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the Nature of your Pokémon affects different stats, like the Physical Attack, Special Attack, Physical Defense, and Special Defense. Depending on what Pokémon it is, having a higher spec in these different stats can help your Pokémon’s attacks and abilities be stronger.
While you can catch the same Pokémon over and over again to get the Nature that you want, there is a much easier way. You can actually change your Pokémon’s Nature by using special Mints that you can find in one of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s many stores. Here’s what you need to know.
How to Change Your Pokémon’s Nature in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
If you’re looking to change the Nature of your Pokémon, you can purchase special Mints tied to each Nature from the Chansey’s Goods store. This store can be found in the main city of Mesagoza. The items aren’t available at the start of the game, however, once you have progressed through the Victory Road story to a certain point, you’ll be able to purchase them.
Aside from the Mints that change your Pokémon’s Nature, Chansey’s Goods also sells special evolutionary items, like those needed to evolve special Pokémon like Eevee. Other Pokémon that require items include Scyther, but you’ll have to trade that Pokémon to unlock its evolutionary form.
There are several types of Mints available that will allow you to change your Pokémon’s Nature, and each Mint cost 20,000 Pokédollars each. That means you can technically buy as many as you want, assuming you have the money for it. Here are all the Mints that you can purchase from Chansey’s Goods:
